City Guide Around Providence!

Hello Readers,

First I want to say welcome to Providence, and congratulations on your acceptance to Johnson and Wales. Like you, I was confused what to do on an ordinary night in a different state, town and even country for some. On my first night in Providence, I toured around the town and even walked to the mall which is only five minutes away from Gaebe commons and even closer to the Cove.

If you’re a freshman I urge you to go out with your roommate the first night and take in the sights. If you’re into sushi there is an amazing place called Sura on Westminster St. Its cheap and if I may say the most delicious sushi I have ever tasted. Another great place to go is Cilantro it is a cheaper version of Chipotle. The burritos at Cilantro are one hundred percent better and they have more options and more toppings.

On an ordinary weeknight you will always find my roommates and I chilling on Thayer street. Now I’m sure you’ve heard of Thayer street as the street that houses Brown University. On Thayer street there is a variety of different restaurants and shops that one may enjoy such as Chipotle, Johnny Rockets, and even Blue State Coffee. Blue State Coffee may be one of the best places to get a cup of joe, also their grilled cheese sandwich is to die for.

So in the end whether you stay close to campus or off there is always something to do on any given night. Readers I urge you to take a journey in the Rhode Island streets, because in the end its going to be an unforgettable journey you’ll never forget.

Sincerely, FLA Tour Guide
